Your wedding day is a sacred day devoted to the 2 of you. It represents your love for each other encompassing your respect, friendship, devotion, companionship, tenderness, passion and love that you share.  It’s a commitment you bestow on each other to honour your love and respect for each other in good times and in challenging times.

My job is to tailor your bespoke wedding ceremony which is as individual as you both are but to unite you both and ensure you have the perfect ceremony. Your dream wedding may be a traditional white wedding with vows but held in a garden, on a beach, in a hotel or in the forest.  Your uniqueness may be choosing to dress in your preferred style whether that be steam pink, fancy dress or top hat and tails. You may prefer a spiritual ceremony or a hand fastening.  With careful planning I will endeavour to ensure all that you wish and dream of comes to fruition for your special day.

We would arrange the first meeting to outline your wishes and views on how you visualise your day to be. This may include poems, readings and funny stories.  Weddings can be funny and light hearted as well as being deep and meaningful.
I am happy to meet with you as often as required to ensure you are completely at ease with the order of the ceremony.

A few suggestions of alternative arrangements which you may want to include are meaningful rituals, joining both sides of immediate families together. You can:-
Do the unity candle ceremony.
The bride and groom light the centre candle from two taper candles. You can then if you wish use additional tapers to be used by parents to light the tapers that represent the individuals being married and joining each side of the family together.
Do a ring warming ceremony.
This enables your loved ones to hold and give or visualise your wedding rings with a wish, blessing, prayer or a positive affirmation for your marriage. The aim is by the time you place these rings on each other’s fingers they will be so full of love and positivity from all your friends and family for your marriage. (This can be done by close family only if you so wish).
Do a sand ritual
(this can be part of the wedding or done privately) This involves you both pouring in different colour sands in one container representing the union between you both and the blending of these grains symbolises cementing the connection between you.

As a wedding celebrant I have no legal standing so you would need to have a registrar perform the legal ceremony to obtain your marriage licence either before or after the bespoke wedding you are choosing to have.

You would need to contact your local registry office or county council to arrange this.
The organisation of flowers, caterers, venues, musicians and disc jockey are not included in my service.

There are no travel expenses within a 15 mile radius of Bournemouth. Travel beyond this will incur the standard 45p per mile,.
A deposit would be required once you have booked my services and the full balance to be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
